Overview
Dr. Evan Jameyfield is a neurologist with subspecialty training in neuro-ophthalmology, which focuses on the intersection of disorders in the brain and eye.
An assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Jameyfield's academic interests include quality improvement in neuro-ophthalmology and the use of optical coherence tomography (a non-invasive imaging technique that uses light to create detailed, cross-sectional images of tissues) to better understand neurological diseases.
Dr. Jameyfield received his medical degree from the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. He completed a residency in neurology at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences system, followed by a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Washington University School of Medicine.
